Fantastico Hangout @ Goa : Zica-licios !
Tata Motors recently had an exciting promotional campaign to launch their new hatchback Tata Zica. We at Techquark.com were invited for the launch event along with fellow bloggers to witness this splendid car. Let's take you to a tour of Goa for Zica’s campaign ‘The #Fantastico Hunt’.
Retreating from the beach we had an interactive session where we got an opportunity to learn about Tata Zica from the team who put in all the efforts for the Zippy Car! We enjoyed listening to Delna Avari and her stories behind getting Lionel Messi to be Zica’s brand ambassador and also how Tata Zica got the acronym of “Zippy Car”. Pablo, leading the designing team, then took us to the journey of Zica from a mere paper sketch to an actual product of Tata Motors.
Day 2 and we all decked up in our Messi jerseys, there was an air of excitement, cheerfulness and freshness in the dawn of Goa. We were thrilled to get our hands dirty on “Zippy Car”. We had our routes defined and had to cover 60Kms in three to four hours. This was enough time to get us acclimatized with the car and enjoy its luxury. The experience was not it! We had a number of challenges, 29 in all, with varying difficulty levels to which we should post our answers on Twitter and the winners gets goodies. Some focused on completing the tasks while others strolled on the streets of Goa enjoying every bit of the place and the car.
Our first experience with the Tata Zica was extremely engaging, the car captivated us with its enthralling interiors. Tata has adapted greatly from its previous cars and thus this model does not suffer from style or design lethargy. Tata Zica gave us a rich feel, if we summarize it in three words, the car is airy, voluminous and ergonomic in its vital spirit.
On driving the car, it gave us a sense of strong ride quality with no compromise on handling. Talking about steering balance, it is accurately weighted, we cannot say it was exaggeratedly quick or infuriatingly slow. The hydraulics and the suspensions were in perfect sync with the car balance and thus delivering a smooth ride.
The best part of the Zica road trip was its infotainment system which made us go drooling over the sound quality. The pre-installed Juke car app enabled us to connect our smartphones with the sound system and we relished our own Goa chartbusters!
Concluding, we thank Tata Motors to invite us for such an amazing promotional event of a yet-to-be-launched car in a breathtakingly beautiful place with overwhelming hospitality and exceptional bloggers. We wish Tata Zica all the good luck to dominate the entry level segment cars.
