So, this time the big one is Samsung Galaxy Note 4, just hold your horses and wait a little while. As the rumors say it, we will be introduced to the launch of Galaxy Note 4 in IFA to be held in September. It was from the news of Korean times which quoted an executive of Samsung partner “Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 4 phablet, UHD OLED TVs, a Google Glass rival, and home appliances at the upcoming IFA. The Note 4 will have two versions - one with a curved OLED display for niche markets and the other a flat OLED display for mass marketing."
Samsung had a strong denial for the comment, however, from the words of Yoon Han-Kil, Senior Vice President of Samsung’s product strategy team, the firm has plans to launch the new Galaxy Note in the latter half of 2014.
We believe that your expectations will be met and the Galaxy Note 4 will come with a stylus, i.e. Samsung’s S Pen which will be powered by Google’s Android Operating System. It is also speculated that the unlocking of the device will have an option of handwriting recognition and will perform functions like calling.
Coming to various colors, the phablet is expected to be launched in monochromes used in S5 which are Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold.
AnTuTu Benchmarks have emerged with another configuration saying the Note 4 to have Samsung’s own 5433 octa-core processor. A score of 40,303 is better than the Snapdragon 805 but slightly begins the nVidia Tegra K1.
However, we think that Samsung might be working on both and once the testing completes Samsung will take up a call on which processor to release or may be both.
Another interesting fact that caught our attention is the possibility of a three sided screen which makes reading messages easier from various angles, this was confirmed by Samsung’s executive Vice President Lee Young Hee to Bloomberg.
Talking about the design, Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be launched in a dust and waterproof design. It has become more of a standard feature after Sony launched it with high end devices like Xperia Z1 Compact.
