1Gbps Broadband by ACT Fibernet Makes Hyderabad Fastest City in India

When I moved to Hyderabad, in 2010, I was mesmerized by the city, its culture heritage, language, architectural buildings, modern marvels and Internet plans! ACT Fibrenet’s CEO Bala Malladi highlighted that globally only four countries offer Gbps services on a large scale, Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea and US and now India has these services for a price of Rs 5,999 per month where the Fair Usage Policy limits to 1 Terabyte.

Following the announcement of launching 1Gbps in Hyderabad, ACT Fibernet laid down its plans to invest Rs 1,200 crore over next two years and launch its services in 10 other cities of India. Further, Bala Malladi said “With our citizens and the government moving towards the Digital India movement, high-speed internet is the need of the hour. With the launch of our 1 Gbps broadband internet service, it gives me immense pride to turn this dream into reality. The city of Hyderabad is apt for our maiden launch as it has some of the best technology brands, educational institutions, and a vibrant economy”.
